Sexual harassment in the workplace is continuing to be a hot topic in the area of employment discrimination. Courts continue to expand the definition of "harassment" and the number of sexual harassment claims is expected to rise.

This course is designed to introduce you to the concepts behind sexual harassment law and how those concepts came about. Most of the concepts explored in this course transcend all federal jurisdictions.This course also explores basic issues that arise under the context of sexual harassment including: how someone can be harassed; who can be a harasser; the various standards for employer liability; and how employers can protect themselves from harassment claims.
