Attorneys engage in many activities to obtain business and develop
growing client bases. These commercial activities often run headlong into a
tradition where advertising is frowned upon as lacking etiquette and
ethics. This course examines the leading Supreme Court cases regarding
lawyer solicitation, including direct-mail and in-person solicitations.
This course then challenges the participants with questions and fact
patterns taken from real appellate cases.
