Ballow. He has been an attorney with King & Ballow since 1986. Prior to
then, he was a trial attorney with the National Labor Relations Board.
This course introduces you to the rules governing employer investigations
under the National Labor Relations Act.
It covers the various aspects of the Supreme Court's Weingarten
decision, including the recent decision of the National Labor Relations
Board to extend Weingarten protections to employees who are not represented
by a labor organization. It explains the circumstances under which an
employee may request representation, when an employer must honor that
request, and the consequences of a refusal to honor a Weingarten request.
Detailed knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act is not required to
complete this course.
