Michael
D. Oesterle is a partner in the Labor Section of King & Ballow and is
head of the Construction Law Section.
Mr. Oesterle earned his undergraduate degree from the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he graduated magna cum laude and he earned his
law degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated cum
laude. Mr. Oesterle is a member of the Tennessee, Wisconsin and American Bar Associations.
He is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Wisconsin, and before the U.S.
Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Sixth, Seventh, and Ninth
Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle District of Tennessee
and the Western District of Wisconsin.
This course is designed for attorneys who represent employers in Tennessee and other
states. This course also covers the various aspects of law governing
workplace inspections under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
It provides guidance to practitioners on steps to prepare for an OSHA
workplace inspection, the conduct of an OSHA workplace inspection, and subsequent
contest of a citation. Detailed knowledge of the OSHA is not required to
complete this course.
