Courses

Our Media Management courses are developed with goal of assisting publishing and broadcasting professionals in understanding the legal issues faced in today's media environment. Topics include First Amendment issues, access to courtrooms, open records and open meetings, circulation and distribution subjects. King & Ballow attorneys have represented over 300 daily newspapers and many weekly newspapers in their national practice and over 150 broadcasting clients.  The course instructors provide legal advice to media clients, and participate as speakers and instructors at programs offered by trade associations across the country.

To take our online courses, you must register as a user and pay the course fee of $29.95 through our secure server.  We only accept VISA or MASTERCARD. If you have already signed up as a user, simply login to the right.  You may browse our course selections without registering.

After registering for a course, you may take it immediately or within seven (7) days from the date of registration.  Each course is designed for one (1) hour of CLE credit.  You must spend one (1) hour in each course taken to receive CLE credit, which is monitored to comply with state CLE standards.

After completing a course, you must complete the End-Of-Course Survey and we will e-mail you a Certificate of Completion.  Also, we will report your CLE credit(s) to the appropriate state bar(s).  Be sure to check our E-Learning website for new courses.
